A pure spice blend, one more fragrant than the other. The origin of the spice bread is really lost in the mists of time. The recipe we now use comes from the Chinese cooks who passed it on to the Arabics, and from the Arabics it came to us through the crusaders, in the Middle Age. A long detour then, but it was worth it!
